Great Expectations

Beaconoflight

I want to talk about my work in PR.

Charles Dickens, author of A Christmas Carol, also wrote Great Expectations–a novel about a boy who thinks he is going to inherit a lot of money, gets into debt, doesn’t inherit anything, and must face the consequences. Sometimes managing a PR and marketing firm can be a bit like that! I have always respected my clients and want the best for them. I ask the same from them. It is a collaboration. To that end, I want them to believe anything is possible and to shoot for the moon. I also want them to manage their expectations and understand the role of PR & marketing and the tasks at hand. The overall ROI for our clients has been significantly substantial from the first day our KeyMedia Public Relations doors opened. We want to continue that course.

Lately, as the days shorten and 2017 slips away, I’ve begun to think about the direction I wish to take my business in the new year. In January 2018, with the help of my associate Maryanne Bertollo,  we’re going to be launching a new project, called Push My Book. In ten easy steps we will introduce unpublished authors to agents; it will be succinct, efficient and super-results oriented.

This is the way I’m envisioning 2018: a year where I focus all of my energy like a beam of light onto desired outcome, and where I achieve this outcome with a maximum of grace and a minimum of stress. I’m excited for all my projects, new and old, and plan to use a portion of energy on promoting my musical show The Pass.

Wishing you and your loved ones the happiest holiday season…Denise
