I was in the shower and had my next blog idea! Still dripping from the shower, I begin to type. Yes I have a towel around me! I blog once in a blue moon. I like to share what is interesting to me and maybe others, and since there is so much content on the web, words worth reading.
Question: How many people out their have a dad, father in their 90’s? I mean men typically die before women. Someone could write a blog about father’s in their 90’s. There’s much to blog about. There may even be a blog like that out there now.
Here’s the thing, my dad, fell over the other night, taking off his shoes. He was on his bed, sitting (so he says) and he just toppled over. Sprained his wrist. I was visiting him in Florida literally 3 days ago and both wrists were fine.
I got a bit upset, because I know he bends over all the time and when I see it, I freak out. It’s like your 90!!! stop bending over like that! Still he does what he does and how he does it.
Question: Who am I to question what a 90 year old man does, he is sustaining his life, not 100% clean bill of health, still he remains on this earth for me and all those that adore him, to watch, cheer him on and congratulate him for not falling over.
Here’s a video of my dad, regarding his endless and tireless work for Parkinson’s. He is the founder of the Herbert Kay Foundation. and dig the music!
